About Niki Paige

Niki Paige is a Vancouver-based singer-songwriter whose vocally driven music has been fostering connection and community in homes throughout the city over the past couple of years. As a lover of house shows, Niki has blended her passion for hospitality with her honest, self-aware alternative-folk tunes to create a rich and intimate listening experience.

 

Niki’s music, as is demonstrated through her upcoming single, eggs + toast, anchors into the human experience of navigating one’s way through raw and real emotions. As one who identifies as a “big feeler,” her poetic authenticity has a gravitational effect on the listener, pulling them into an introspective quiet.

Established in 2009 and based in Ontario, the Badgerland music community welcomes both professional and lay musicians around the world to put out free, and often kooky songs, most known for their Christmas releases. Joining the Badgerland collective in recent years, Niki has enjoyed contributing a couple of tracks to their annual Christmas album. Fellow contributors include Jordan Klassen, Mike Edel, and Half-Handed Cloud.

In October 2022, Niki attended a songwriting retreat alongside other songwriters, musicians, mental health professionals, theologians, and folks with lived mental health challenges on Keats Island to collaborate on the Sanctuary Songs album by the Porter’s Gate in partnership with Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries (SMHM). That following December, Niki performed a couple of her songs touching on mental health at SMHM’s Christmas Gala Fundraiser. 

 

Whether drawing people in with just her guitar and voice, or with splashes of piano, ukulele, and accompanying harmonies, Niki’s songwriting invites the curious to see, feel, and notice the world alongside her.
